Sony makes great headphones, but are they the best?
When people think of headphones Sony headphones are the first to come to mind. Obviously they make great headphones and there is no doubt about that. But are they the best?
When it comes to the word "best" it is up to you do say what the best really is. Are you looking for the best sound? The best noise cancelling? The best Bass? Or simply the best price?
What to know about Sony
Sony is a tech giant. Which means they have the resources and the time to put into their products. That goes without saying that it is also the reason their newest headphones come out costing quite a bit. Although they have so many resources and time, it doesn't guarantee that their product is for everyone. Sony is well known for their noise cancelling (NC) which without a doubt is top tier. So if that is what you are looking for then you should definitely get yourself a pair of Sony headphones. Preferably the Sony-WH-1000M5 which is their latest model.

However if you are looking more much more then you should know a bit more about what Sony has to offer. The biggest thing that I can think of is the Sony headphone app. It is used to create different environments for different listening experiences. I will say that it has a good amount of options and an equalizer.
This is great for people with particular taste in sound. However by default, Sony has more bass than most other headsets. They don't really emphasize mids or highs. I do believe that the sound difference is very slight, but it all depends on you and your ear on whether it is a deal breaker or not.

Final Thoughts:
I really believe that Sony is on top of their game and have made one of the best noise cancelling headphone up to date. Of course they have competitors that have well noise cancelling as well. But Sony does have an edge on the others. I believe that Sony has great headphones even the previous models that were made years ago have great sound and noise cancelling. But are they the king of headphones? I would say no. Not with this many options they can't have it all and it is up to the consumer to decide what they want in a pair of headphones.
